Stevie Nicks' new album is on the way. The Fleetwood Mac frontwoman will release 24 Karat Gold - Songs from the Vault on October 7th. The set will also be available as a "Deluxe Photobook" CD, featuring two bonus tracks, while a vinyl version will hit stores on September 29th.
Nicks says most of the material on 24 Karat Gold was originally written between 1969 and 1987, although there are a couple of tracks that only date back to the mid-1990s. She adds that each song has "a soul" and "a purpose," and "represent" her life.
Stevie explains that they're "the memories," that recall "life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken hearted and the survivors."
Nicks' 24 Karat Gold's arrival coincides with the launch of Fleetwood Mac's fall tour. The group will launch their trek in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 29th. The road trip will be the band's first with Christine McVie in more than a decade.
