(Cleveland) - A new downtown entertainment venue is opening its doors in August. The Music Box Supper Club is gearing up for visitors on Main Avenue, on the West Bank of the Flats.

Backers say the Music Box Supper Club is a new world-class, state-of-the-art entertainment destination that will bring big-name concerts and fine dining to downtown Cleveland.

It's to be a gorgeous two-story concert hall, and Live Nation's Barry Gabel feels it will be an exciting addition to Cleveland’s ever-expanding music and foodie scene.

Gabel is hoping to work with Music Box developer Mike Miller, to create shows that will compliment Live Nation concerts. Gabel tells Newsradio WTAM 1100 it’s great that someone is bringing more entertainment to the West Bank.

Miller is from Chicago, but grew up in Cleveland and is moving back to start up the Music Box Supper Club.
