The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is overflowing with wonderful, amazing pups and dogs - so many different breeds, colors, shapes, sizes, ages - something for everyone! These dogs are looking for a new “leash” on life in a new FURever home.

Allie is wonderful four year old Labrador mix who just looks older than she acts.  Allie, on top of being very sweet, she prefers receiving attention over treats.  She already knows how to sit on her hind legs upright and beg.  She can be a 'velcro' pooch and prefers to be around people, giving her comfort.  If you are looking for a family dog, stop in and meet Allie soon.

Winston is a phenomenal one and a half year old Airedale Golden Retriever mix.  Here is what one volunteers said which sums him up.  "Winston is a VERY sweet boy with manners. He walks VERY nicely by your side, and when he gets a little ahead, he keeps looking behind to make sure you’re still there. He knows the basic commands and is very gentle in taking treats. He would make a wonderful addition to any family!"  Winston is also neutered so he can go home the same day into an approved forever home.
