Depsite a troubled career plagued by poor management and infighting, all-girl rock band The Runaways paved the way for many female artists and bands to enter the male-dominated arena of rock music. They were best know for their songs "Queens of Noise", "California Paradise", their cover of The Velvet Underground’s "Rock n Roll", and rock anthem "Cherry Bomb".
